NCHE Single Parent Scholarships

Thank you for inquiring about a scholarship to the NCHE Homeschool Conference. Single parent conference scholarships are being offered by an anonymous donor. Conference registration will be paid for the first 75 qualifying single homeschooling parent applicants postmarked on or before March 31.

Please note that THREE forms need to be filled out. If they are not ALL completed and submitted by the deadline, we will not have the information needed to consider you for a scholarship.

Coinciding with a change in NCHE conference procedure regarding not mailing pre-registration materials, you will need to attend the conference to be awarded any and all scholarships, including the additional financial help with hotels and books. Conference passes and gift cards will need to be picked up in the pre-registration lines at the conference. You will receive a separate email from singleparents@nche.com when scholarships are awarded. You will need to bring a copy of that email to the conference registration table.

Form 1) The conference registration form. Please print it out, fill it in, and write “SINGLE PARENT SCHOLARSHIP” across the top of the form. Send it in to the NCHE office at c/o Single Parent Scholarship, 4336-A Bland Rd, Raleigh, NC, 27609.

Form 2) To apply for additional financial help with the hotel and books, complete the online NCHE SINGLE PARENT SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION for Hotel and Books.
These limited scholarships will be awarded on a case by case basis.

Form 3) To complete the application for additional financial help, a signed letter from your pastor/church leader will need to accompany the application. Click here to download the form that your pastor/church leader should read and sign. This form should also be mailed to the NCHE office at the address above.

Reminder: Application deadline is March 31.

ALL forms will need to be submitted by the deadline to qualify. We will NOT be able to extend this deadline.
