In its 29th year, the Annual Conference and Book Fair of North Carolinians for Home Education serves as a celebration of the multi-faceted face of education in North Carolina. Since the first NCHE conference in 1984, which served about 50 families, we’ve grown to serve thousands now. Our mission is simply to:
~Equip families and individuals of North Carolina who are passionate about education
~offer workshops which address a variety of educational needs and both learning and teaching styles that are seen across the state
~to connect homeschoolers with quality curriculum resources and post-secondary options
~to celebrate our students through fun teen and alum activities, including games, dancing, and fellowship, as well as a chance to participate in a first class, state-wide graduation ceremony

Teens attending book fair with a family pass and wishing to attend either the Dance or Game Night will have to pay an additional fee of $5.00 for each activity.

We are again excited to offer a children’s conference for children ages 5-12, directed by Children’s Conferences International, one of the nation’s largest, faith-based children’s conferences and event facilitators focusing on teaching children how to build a relationship with Jesus Christ.
**Attendees MUST BE registered for either Full Conference or Book Fair Only AS WELL AS registered with CCI.
ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITY: To be able to offer this children’s conference, we need VOLUNTEERS! Anyone 13 and older may apply to help serve in this capacity. CCI utilizes various online tools to secure a paid background check for any volunteer who has public records and who is 18 or older. Volunteers will receive a certificate of service for their time.
Early Book Fair access for Full Conference attendees:
All Full Conference online registrations processed by Sunday, May 19, 2013, will receive a 1 1/2-hour early access into the Book Fair on Thursday, May 23, 2013. The Book Fair opens to all other attendees at 2:30 p.m.
